Unice Cafe × African JAG・・・Photo Exhibition「African Wind」

As an activity by African JAG Project for International AIDS Day, a photo exhibition presented by African JAG Project will be held from December 01-03 at Unice Cafe in Daikanyama, Tokyo, featuring photos of the children we met through our support activities in Africa.
Also featured in the merchandise area of Unice Cafe will be the African JAG compilation CD & the DVD released just recently as collaboration between Japan’s top skaters and African JAG, as well as various interesting African arts & crafts such as silver accessories by Saharan nomad “Touareg” and colorful fabrics from West Africa which will be purchasable at the cafe during the exhibition period (part of the sales will be donated to African JAG to be used for local support activities in Africa).
Hope you would be able to enjoy spending your tea time at the Cafe, feel the everyday lives of African people more closely, and hopefully to pay even a little attention to the realities that exist behind children’s smiles… If you have a time to spare, please visit us at Unice Cafe during the exhibition period.
※Please note Unice Cafe will open as usual throughout the exhibition period, providing their regular menu of foods & drinks.

AFRICAN JAG PROJECTThe new skateboard DVD presented by skateboarder team MAZE and BIG WING Distribution. Japan’s top stylish skaters got together to show their highly-acclaimed riding skills, and the foremost street skating utilizing the distinctive terrains of the streets in Japan to be witnessed & recorded onto films.
With “initial impulse” at the core, the skaters instinctively run through the streets, cut in with images of current Japan & its youth culture. Features Yoshihiro “Deshi” Ohmoto, Yoshiaki Toeda, Kenya Okuno, Haruka Katagata, Haruki Funahashi, Shinichi Ito, Masafumi Kajitani, Daiki Hosoda, Hiroyuki Matsuo, and more than 20 other skaters.

The crucial realities that exist this moment, on the same planet. By being aware of such realities and giving thoughts to them, this globe will become one in the real sense.
